  • According to Bill Maher, pot is the new gay marriage -- "the next obvious civil rights issue that needs to fall." Legalized in two states, decriminalized or approved for medical use in over 20 others, its acceptance seems to have progressed way beyond the pipe dream stage.

      Completely. To the degree that alcohol is, with reasonable limits. Goodbye failed War on Drugs, hello lucrative Tax on Weed.

      Sorta kinda. With over 80 percent approving of medical use, let's go nationwide with that and call it copacetic. Those not actually ill can get high behind the helpful cover story.

      Not. The logical argument for legalization notwithstanding, it's not crazy to think the country can ill afford an even-more-stoned version of itself than now exists. There's a reason it's called "dope."
